Join Our 1888 Legacy Society

We want to thank you now.

Our 1888 Society provides lifetime recognition to donors who have included the Presidential Site in their estate plan. All you need do is tell the Presidential Site that your plan is in place and that you have no objection to being publicly listed in the 1888 Society honor roll.

With your help along the way, we have made great strides in community outreach and education through hosting the federal court's Naturalization ceremony each summer, being a voting center, and providing groundbreaking educational opportunities for youth through our Future Presidents of America youth leadership camp and In Pursuit of State Pride 4th Grade Field Trip initiative.

We have been able to share the life stories, arts and culture of an American President with more children and adults than ever before; utilize cutting-edge technology to begin to digitize our nearly 11,000 artifact collection for long-term preservation; find new and creative ways to bring history to life; inspire civic engagement, public service and leadership in tens of thousands of schoolchildren annually; and much more.

However, none of this is possible without the devotion and backing of our more than 150 volunteers and 650 members. The Presidential Site is a private non-profit that receives no direct tax-based support, so we rely on an annual fund drive, special events and grant income to sustain this historical legacy and our robust education outreach. Our ability to meet our mission is dependent on the generosity of our friends and supporters. An increased endowment is imperative in providing lasting sustainability.
